Sandra Phil Istre

Sandra Phil Istre, 70, of Sulphur passed away on June 22, 2017 in a local hospital. She was a member of the Open Door Biker Church in Sulphur, loved her flowers, her Baby Girl (Cat), and spending time with her family, especially all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sandra is survived by her children, Melissa “Pudden” Breaux and husband Darryl, Melinda “MeMe” Lewis and husband Brad, Christina O’Quain and husband Mitchell, James Istre and wife Monica and Randall Istre and wife Alexis; 3 step-children, Georgia Istre, Helen Trahan and husband, J ack, and Robert Istre, Jr.;  24 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Winnie Miller and Carolyn Suarez; brother, Pat Wing and wife Margaret; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Istre; and her grandson, Dustin O’Quain.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 2 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jay Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 24, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home from 10 A.M. until time of the service.
