Santa Marie Ginger Matassa

Santa Marie "Ginger" Matassa, 75, passed away April 2, 2011 in Lake Charles.
Born July 12, 1935 in Lake Charles, she graduated from St. Charles Academy. Ms. Matassa moved to California in 1960 until November of 2010 when she moved back to Lake Charles.
Ms. Matassa is preceded in death by her father Sam Matassa, her mother Pearl, and her step-mother, Mabel Matassa.
She is survived by her two sisters, Tammy Leviner and her husband Joe of Moss Bluff, Tina Peloquin of Sulphur; two nephews, Sammy Leviner and wife Mandi of Moss Bluff, Clifford Peloquin Jr. and wife Candace; niece Heather Guillory and husband J.D. of Lake Charles.
Upon her wishes she will be cremated under the care of Johnson Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
