Sarah Lynn Trahan

Sarah Lynn Trahan, 52, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 12:50 AM on Monday, March 13, 2017 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Trahan was born March 29, 1964 in Clute, TX and lived most of her life in the Moss Bluff / Lake Charles areas.  She was a 1983 graduate of Sam Houston High School and following graduation moved to Oklahoma where she worked at a Trauma Center.  She began her career in 2002 as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant and Phlebotomist Supervisor at the Pathology Lab.  Sarah enjoyed spending time on the water, boat riding, and camping, but her true passion was for spending hours at a time shopping.  She will always be remembered for her bright smile and was full of energy.

Mrs. Trahan is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, Wallace Trahan, Jr.; daughter, Kelsy Lynlea Trahan; brothers, Carl Dwayne Pyle and wife Jamie, Cecil Edward Pyle and wife Patricia, and Frances Lyndon “Ralph” Ogea, Jr. and wife Valery; along with a number of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Lee and Frances Lyndon Ogea.

Her memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Jeffery Ralston will officiate.  Cremation will follow the service.  Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
