Clarence Scot LaFargue, 52, of Lake Charles passed away Saturday, December 03, 2016 at Our Lady of the Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette, LA as a result of a stroke.
Mr. LaFargue was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. He was a graduate of LaGrange High School where he began his career in auto mechanics. Scot was a talented mechanic that specialized in transmissions worked for several mechanic shops and formerly owned “The Transmission Shop”. Good times were often spent with friends and family fishing, shrimping, cooking or singing Karaoke. His passion was his Harley, love to ride and living life.
He leaves to honor his memory, one daughter, Jessica Brookes LaFargue Reynolds and husband Stevie; one son, Clarence Scot LaFargue, Jr.; and three grandchildren, Jake, Braelynn and Luke Reynolds and one on the way, all of Jasper, AR; mother, Sharon Lee LaFargue; sister, Michelle Fruge and husband Randy; “favorite niece”, Jamie Gorman and husband T.J., all of Lake Charles and his baby dog, Harley. He also leaves aunts, uncles and cousins and a special uncle, Karl Gillard of Lake Charles.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Nicholas and father, Clarence LaFargue, Jr.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday, December 06, 2016 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Harold Nixon will officiate. Interment will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help with medical expenses.
