Sean Joseph Nunez

Sean Joseph Nunez, 37, of Lake Charles died at 1:47 PM on Saturday, November 12, 2016 in a local hospital.  Even in the midst of our sadness we can find comfort in knowing that Sean was able to help many others through organ donation.

Sean was born on May 1, 1979 in Evanston, WY and lived most of his life in Lake Charles where he attended Barbe High School.  He enjoyed many things in life including cooking, riding motorcycles, and being outdoors.  Sean will be remembered for his love for life and for his smart and talented characteristics.  He was an exceptional artist.  He lived life to the fullest and he was known for making others laugh. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving fiancé, Lisa Burrows and her daughter, Madison Mears of Lake Charles; his parents, Janet and Richard Lognion of Lake Charles; a son, Nathan Nunez of Big Bear, CA; a daughter, Erin Elizabeth Daugherty of Houston, TX; two step brothers, Ryan and Matthew Lognion (Emily) all of Lake Charles; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mansel Joseph “Joe” Nunez; a brother, Aaron Paul Nunez; and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 17, 2016 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery.  Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will resume on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.
