Semone Louise Menou Todd

Semone Louise Menou Todd, 82, of Carlyss passed away on January 19, 2019 in her residence. She was a native of Iota and lived in Sulphur for over 50 years. Semone was a graduate of St. Francis Catholic School and attended USL which is now ULL. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, served as an Eucharistic Minister and a Lay Carmelite.

Semone is survived by her daughter, Suzette Todd Hadrian and husband Michael of Sulphur; three sons, Milton “Daniel” Todd, III and wife Gerianne of Baton Rouge, LA, Benjamin “Ben” Roland Todd and wife Wendy of Bryan, TX, and Matthew Menou Todd and wife Anna of Lake Charles; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and 2 on the way; sister, Stefanie Burton and husband Charles of Sulphur; and sister-in-law, Beverly Menou of Lake Charles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Daniel Todd, Jr.; son, William Andrew Todd; brothers, Roland and Peter Menou; sisters, Joellenne Menou Stark and Jeannelle Menou Bailey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 2 P.M. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Carlyss with Father Luke Krzanowski, M.S. officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 5-8 P.M. with a rosary at 6:30 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Thursday, January 24, at 12 P.M. until time of leaving for the church.
