DeRidder – Sennett Magee Kelly, 84, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in his residence.
Sennett was born in Collins, MS on July 20, 1931 to the late Paul H. and Pauline Magee Kelly. He retired from South Central Bell after nearly 30 years as a lineman. He enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and being with family.
Survivors include his children, Lorrie Dickerson (Harry) of Lake Charles, Michael Kelly of Sulphur, Nancy Kelly of DeRidder, Joe Kelly (Heather) of DeRidder, David Kelly of DeRidder, Darrin Kelly (Donna Kay) of DeRidder, Brian Kelly (John) of Jacksonville, FL, Sarah Kelly of Sulphur, Jason Kelly (Diane) of Sugarland, TX and Christopher Kelly of Salt Lake City, UT; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and beloved pet, Sam. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty W. Kelly; parents; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 29, 2016 at 6 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Burial will follow on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. in Oakvale Methodist Cemetery in Mt. Olive, MS under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation is Friday from 2 p.m. until the time of service
at 6 p.m.
