Shane Arceneaux

Shane Arceneaux, 57, of Sulphur, LA passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026 in the comfort of his home.

Mr. Arceneaux was born in Santa Barbara, CA,, raised in Sulphur LA and has live the past fifteen years in Rayne, LA. He served the United State Navy where he was the youngest to achieve Seal status. He also served the United States Marine Corps. He studied to attain his Electrical License and worked nearly forty years throughout Southwest Louisiana Refineries as an Electrician. Mr. Arceneaux was a die hard Saints fan with his mood for the day being totally dependant on the game. He enjoyed cooking for his family: mexican dishes, barbecue and boiled crawfish being his specialties. He loved listening to classic old school country music and spoiling his beloved fur baby, Willie T. Mr. Arceneaux will be remembered as a hard worker who was well respected throughout the industry,. He will be most remembered for his love and devotion to his family and for never letting them down.

He leaves to honor his memory, his wife of thirty one years, Carla Marie Credeur Arceneaux of Rayne, LA; stepchildren whom her raised and loved as his own, Macey Credeur Broussard Randi Renee Arceneaux and Colby David Arceneaux; four grandchildren, Dania Davidenee Arceneaux, Claire Marie Broussard, Jayven Marcquis Sinegal and Jaxson Neil Broussard, all of Rayne and two sisters, Sunny Gail Ryder and Suzette Arceneaux and two nephews, Jamie Jason Arceneaux and Cody Allen Dean.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Walker Arceneaux and Patricia Wilder Arceneaux; two brothers and four sisters.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Visitation Wednesday will begin at 10:00 AM until the time of service.
