Shannon Lowery Racca

Shannon Lowery Racca,51, of Sulphur passed away on January 9, 2016 in West Cal-Cam Hospital. She worked for West Cal-Cam Hospital for 30 years as a nurse and most recently as the Home Health Administrator. Shannon loved the Lord, and her church Victory Worship Center. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and friends. Shannon also organized and maintained a ministry for the citizens of the Sulphur Retirement Community.

Shannon is survived by her husband of 4 years, Kenneth Racca of Sulphur; her daughter, Amanda Gayle Fontenot of Lake Charles; her step-son, Joseph Wayne Racca of Lake Charles; her mother, Janice Lowery of Carlyss; her sibling, Paul Lowery and wife, Lucretia of Corpus Christi, TX and Kaylon Oliver and husband David of Tomball, TX; her nieces and nephews, Tristen Lowery, Heavenly Lowery, David Oliver,III, and Roy Oliver. She was preceded in death by her father, Lauris Lowery.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 10 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry LaFleur officiating. Burial will be Mimosa Pines in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 5-9 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with visitation continuing on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 8 A.M. until time of the service.
