Lake Charles – Shawna Nicole Roussell, born on July 18, 1976, in Lake Charles, daughter of Kenneth “Poppy” and Ramona “Dee” Rosfeld, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the age of 46.
Shawna graduated from Lagrange High School and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed fishing, reading, long car rides, bingo, finding treasures at yard sales, and spending time with her boys.
Shawna is survived by her husband of 23 years, Eric Roussell; sons, Tyler Rosfeld, Logan Roussell; mother, Dee Rosfeld; brother, Ken Rosfeld; sister, Marla Kjerulff (Paul); step-daughter, Fallon Roussell. She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth “Poppy” Rosfeld.
A gathering of family and friends will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., with a Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. Cremation will follow under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with expenses
