Sherman Hebert

Sherman Wayne Hebert, 64, passed away in a local hospital on Monday, January 7, 2019.

He was born on November 10, 1954 in Lake Charles, LA to Elliott and Florence Ludack Hebert. He loved his “girls” (his wife, daughters and granddaughter). He was very sociable and loved interacting with people. He enjoyed restoring old cars, old rock and roll music, and watching LSU, the New Orleans Saints, and the Houston Astros.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 46 years, Belinda Vest Hebert; daughters, Kristi Hebert Johnson and husband Sean and Laurie Hebert; granddaughter, Ava Johnson; brothers, Ray Hebert and Elliott Hebert, Jr.; sisters, Betty Duplechian and Debra Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; mother in law, Elaine Vest; and father in law, Hobert Vest.

His funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home at 6 PM on Saturday, January 12, 2019. The Rev. Sean Johnson will officiate. Burial will take place in Highland Memory Gardens at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 3 PM until the start of the service.
