Sherril Lynn “Rose” Kebodeaux, 65, of Lake Charles passed away Saturday July 25, 2020 in a local healthcare center.
Mrs. Kebodeaux was a native of Pasadena, TX and has lived most of her life in Lake Charles. She worked as a restaurant manager at the Prien Lake Mall Food Court. She was a talented artist of watercolor and acrylics paintings. She was also a beautiful seamstress and avid reader. Mrs. Kebodeaux always enjoyed following her life partner’s band to countless gig’s over the years, as she was their biggest fan. She will be remembered for her gift of communication and her laughter.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her life partner of twenty two years, Gerald Wayne Simon of Lake Charles; son, Joseph Manriquez and wife Jennifer of Houston, TX; daughter, Maryam Melissia McLouth of Montague, MI; two step daughters, Angela Marie Farris and husband Jeremy and Melanie Lynn Heaton, all of Moss Bluff; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; Brianna Marie Simon, Alivia Lynne Rose Farris and Grady Kale Farris; one sister, Karen Bonner and her family of Oklahoma and one brother, Thomas Smith and family of Texas.
She was preceded by her mother and father.
Mrs. Kebodeaux’s family wishes to express heartfelt sympathy to the doctor’s and staff of Christus St. Patrick’s Hospital, Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, Cornerstone and Resthaven Care Center’s for their excellence in care and compassion.
In respect of her wishes, her family will have a private memorial gathering.
