Shirley Ann Hollier Dronnet

Shirley Dronnet, 76, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017 peacefully in her sleep.  Shirley was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Shirley was a long time resident of Sulphur.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Marlene Istre and husband Matthew and Roxanne Arabie; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, Geraldine, Gene, Lena, Sexton, Emery, Eulix, Ray and Russell.  Preceding Shirley in death are two daughters, Brenda Brenson and Martha Arabie; one son, Ronald Arabie; and siblings, Harry, Joe, Ivy and Connie. 

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur with Father Edward Richard, M.S. officiating.  Burial will follow at Farquhar Cemetery in Carlyss.  The family will receive friends on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home from 5-9 PM with a rosary recited at 7 PM and on January 31, 2017 from 8 am until time to leave for the church.
