Shirley Doss, 84, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, died Friday, June 15, 2018 in a local care facility.
She was born February 10, 1934, in Ozark, Arkansas to Ed and Eula Nixon Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Doss; a daughter, Beverly Tyler; and three brothers, Gary and Roger Davis and Bill Nixon.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammie Tyler, of Lake Charles; seven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren; three brothers, Larry and Jim Davis of Desoto, Kansas and Richard Davis of Altus, Arkansas; two sisters, Colene Watley of Conroe, Texas and Norma Davis of Desoto; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Mt. View Cemetery in Ozark with Reverend John Bennett officiating under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Monday, June 18, 2018, at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel, 2315 West Commercial Street in Ozark.
