Iowa- Shirley Sarah Spears, 66, a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away in her residence on Wednesday, February 24, 2016.
Shirley was born in Center, CO to the late Joe and Sally Garcia DeHerrera on May 29, 1949. She attended First United Pentecostal Church in Iowa and loved her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Spears; children, Preston Harrington and Leann Elliott; siblings, Mike DeHerrera, Frankie DeHerrera, Margie Villigran and Frances Sanchez; grandchildren, Julian Elliott and Kameron Quesenberry. Preceding her in death were her parents.
Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation begins Thursday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and resumes Friday from 8 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
