Sidney Paul LeJeune, 67, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025. He was born in Jennings, Louisiana, to Betty Guidry LeJeune Hardee and Oria LeJeune on January 11, 1958.
Sidney was a proud graduate of Jennings High School, where he met the love of his life, Linda. He went on to earn degrees in Instrumentation Technology and Electronics Engineering Technology from McNeese State University. His passion for learning never stopped, and he brought that same dedication to his career at Targa Resources, where he retired after years of hard work and growth.
Many will remember Sidney for his silly sense of humor and his big heart. He was always giving and never asking for anything in return. Sidney loved being "Paw Paw" and spending time with his family; always creating unique memories for those around him to cherish.
He had a kindness for rescuing animals in need and an appreciation for nature all around him. He cultivated gardens full of exotic plants and fruits to use in his own kitchen. His creativity in nature mirrored his creativity for the arts. He was always tinkering, designing, and building, and his love for music, art, and food spanned every corner of the world.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Linda Stafford LeJeune; children, Becky LeJeune and husband Michael Scalisi, Thomas LeJeune, Jennifer LeJeune Dally and husband Dustin Dally, Allison LeJeune and fiancé Isaac Zamora,Dana LeJeune Istre and husband Samuel Istre Jr.; grandchildren, Wes Scalisi, Drake Dally, Liam Dally, Samuel Istre III, and Sarah Istre; siblings, Lloyd LeJeune, Pam LeJeune, Tony LeJeune, and Malana Fontenot; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Guidry LeJeune Hardee and Oria LeJeune, and his sister Katherine LeJeune.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Sunday, October 12, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and will continue on Monday at 9:00 AM until the time of service. A rosary will be recited on Sunday at 6:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Prien Cemetery.
