Sondra Fox

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sondra Elaine Collins Fox, aged 87, who entered her eternal Heavenly rest on May 22, 2026. Born on February 5, 1939, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Sondra lived a life filled with love, resilience, and passion for the beauty that surrounds us.Sondra was a beloved mother to her three daughters: Jody Bean Vince, Jana Bean Lyons (Joe), and Kim Bean Guidry (Jody). As a grandmother, she took great pride in nurturing and supporting her grandchildren: Brady Gallegos, Brandon Gallegos, Brittany Broussard, Dustin Broussard (Hayli), Travis Lyons, Annie Brentlinger (Geoff), Kallie Parria (Gavin), as well as 16 great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents: J.A. and Lucille Collins, her husband; Travis Fox, and her brother; Jimmy Collins.She retired from Cameron Telephone after many years of service as a dedicated supervisor. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sondra found joy and solace in her yard, where she cultivated beautiful flowers and plants. She was a Baptist by faith and loved her church as much as she loved life.

Sondra's life will be celebrated on May 31, 2026, with a Funeral Service at Johnson & Robison Funeral Home, beginning at 3:00 PM. Prior to the service, friends and family are invited to gather for a Public Viewing from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. Following the service, Sondra will be buried at Roselawn Cemetery in Sulphur.  Pallbearers will be Jody Guidry, Joe Lyons, Dustin Broussard, Travis Lyons, Brady Gallegos, Gavin Parria, Geoff Brentlinger and Parker Broussard.
