Stanley Lee Lewis, born November 16, 1938, son of the late Ray and Edith Moore Lewis, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, at the age of 82.
Stanley, a truck driver, retired from Vincent Oil Company. He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. Stanley enjoyed watching Westerns, raising cattle and being outdoors. He loved life, but most of all, he loved his children and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Stanley is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lou Ethel Broussard Lewis; sons, Jamie Lewis and husband, Jeff Morrow; Dale Lewis and wife, LaTisha Mestayer Lewis; Scott Lewis and wife, Dani Jo; daughter, Linda Arsement and husband, Lawrence; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021 with Rev. Jeffrey Starkovich officiating. Burial will be private in Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation will begin in the funeral home Thursday from 10 a.m. A Rosary will be recited at 12:30 p.m.
