Stanton Sisk, 69, of Iowa, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025. Born on October 16, 1955, he was the son of the late Jack and Katherine Sisk.
A graduate of Palos Verdes High School, Stanton went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Utah State University. He worked as a self-employed contractor and was affiliated with the Assemblies of God.
Stanton had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hiking and had a unique interest in discovering and observing snakes.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Katherine Sisk; stepmother, Alice Sisk.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 14 years, Mary Arceneaux Sisk; his children, George Sisk and Abigail Sisk; stepdaughters, Marsha Doan (Dusty) and Trisha Crawshaw; sisters, Rebecca Austin and Cameron Sisk; step-granddaughter, Kaylin Calhoun; and special nephews and niece, Grady Austin (Heather), Martha Moran (Wade), and Greg Austin (Jodi).
Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. No formal services are scheduled at this time.
