Stella Mayon

Stella Mayon, 83, of Sulphur passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in a local hospital.  She enjoyed dancing and being surrounded by her family and friends.  Stella was also a great cook. 

Stella is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Aubrey Mayon; her children, Paul Savant and Michael Savant; her siblings, Judith Cormier of Iowa, LA, Sue Smith of Tomball, TX, L.C. Deshotel of Elton, LA and Frank Deshotel of Tomball, TX; 2 brothers in law, Clem Tuttle and Kenneth Smith of Tomball, TX; daughter in law, Paula Savant of West Monroe, LA; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren;  and her stepchildren, Francis Beard, Aubrey Mayon, Jr., Regina Vincent and Alicia Jean.  She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Savant; siblings, Jester Deshotel, Velma Richard, Steven Deshotel and Zula Tuttle; and her stepdaughter, Reyna Teal.

Services for Stella will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 1:30 PM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Indian Village Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday, July 27, 2017 at the funeral home from 11 AM until the time of service.
