Lake Charles – Stephen Waddell Farque, born on July 5, 1966, son of the late James Farque, Jr. and Freddie Jo (Brantley) Farque, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021, at the age of 55.
Waddell as he was known, was a graduate of Lake Charles High and was a shop supervisor for Resinsystems. Ever the life of the party, he always loved cooking for his family and friends. Waddell was the biggest LSU and Steelers fan. He also enjoyed fishing spare time.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Waddell is survived by his sister, Tamela “Tammy” Thom (John) and brother, Brantley Farque (Becky); aunt, Jenny Anderson; nieces & nephews, Brennan Thom (Meagan); Adrianne Ogea; Amanda Bilski (Blake); Brantley Joseph Farque (Angel); Cullen Farque (Amberly); Stephen Farque (Anna) and 11 great-nieces & nephews. He also leaves behind many wonderful friends that he cherished dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Johnson and Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Thursday at 6 p.m. Gathering of family and friends will begin at 4 p.m. in the funeral home and will continue after the service until 8 p.m. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
