Steve Manuel of Sulphur, born March 2, 1948, son of the late Lanney J. Manuel and Jewel Duplechain, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018, at the age of 70.
Steve was a graduate of Iowa High School and McNeese State University. He retired as a communication engineer. He was a member of Houston River Baptist Church and enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling.
Survivors are his sons, Blake Manuel, Benjamin Manuel, Bartley Manuel and Brice Manuel; sisters, Brenda Myers Mott, Patsy Johnson Cummings (Tommy) and Penny Bushnell (Wyndell); 8 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth Myers.
As per Steve’s request, his cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa and there will be no services.
