Steven Louis "Woody" Woodruff

Steven Louis Woodruff “Woody”, 58, of Sulphur passed away at on Monday, November 26, 2018.

Woody was born on October 21, 1960 in Michigan City, IN and was a resident of Sulphur. He served in the US Army. Woody was an insulator for several companies within his industry, currently working for Brock Services.

He enjoyed having fun with his grandchildren as well as yard work.

Those left to cherish his memory are three children, Tonya Woodruff Miller (Tressa Boudreaux) of Grand Lake, Jessie Ray Woodruff (Nicole Harris) of Lake Charles, and Trevor Jordan Woodruff of Sulphur; grandchildren, Joslyn Claire Miller, Sawyer Luke LeDoux, and Cambreigh Gray Woodruff; parents, Daniel Lee Woodruff, Sr. and Shirlene Lillian Koth; siblings, Cynthia Denise Kreske (Dennis) of Rolling Prairie, IN, Daniel Lee Woodruff, Jr. of Salina, KS, Wendy Sue Osche of Topeka, KS, Valerie Kay Houghton of Salina, KS, Mary Helen Brunner of Salina, KS; and brother, Mark Woodruff of Galveston, IN.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Louise Newkirk.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 3, 2018 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will follow services. Visitation will begin on Sunday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Monday from 12:00 PM until the start of the services.
