Susan Elizabeth Marriner

Susan Elizabeth Marriner, 66, died Wednesday, May 3, 2017, in her residence.

Born in Plainfield, New Jersey to Richard Arthur Marriner and Virginia Elizabeth Cook Marriner, Ms. Marriner was a family case worker for CARC for many years.

Survivors are her son, Jason Daniel Picard of Lake Charles; her daughter, Elizabeth Anne “Beth” Blackwell and husband Jonathan of Jackson, Mississippi; one granddaughter, Cora Camille Blackwell; two brothers, Paul Richard Marriner and wife Joy of Nashville, Tennessee and Benjamin Edward Marriner and wife Molly, also of Lake Charles; one sister, Cathy Lynne Matthews and husband Terry of Sarasota, Florida; her stepmother, Susan Grass Marriner of Lake Charles; and several nieces and nephews.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
