Susan "Susie" Renee Fontenot Wood

Hayes – Funeral services for Susan Renee Fontenot Wood, 57 will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Bro. Lynn Fontenot will officiate. Visitation is on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. Cremation is under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home.

Susan died Monday, January 20, 2014 in her residence. She lived all of her life in Hayes and was employed by the Calcasieu Parish School Board for the past 14 years. Susan loved fishing, hunting, flowers and her chickens.

Survivors are her husband, Glenn Wood; 1 daughter, Jodi Harrell; 1 son, Arnold “Bubba” Harrell, all of Hayes; her dog, Shadow; 2 sisters, Ruth Trahan, Rhonda Fontenot; 4 brothers, Ronnie Fontenot, Mickey Fontenot, Savan Fontenot, all of Hayes and Lynn Fontenot of Waxahachie, TX; several nieces and nephews she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry Lee & Lillian Fontenot and brother, Larry Fontenot.
