Suzanne Reeves Poole

Suzanne Reeves Poole, 53, of Moss Bluff went to be with the Lord at 7:02 AM on Sunday, February 26, 2017 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Poole was born on August 29, 1963 in Charleston, SC and was raised in Lake Charles where she was a graduate of LaGrange High School. She furthered her education at McNeese State University receiving her Bachelor of Science degree. Mrs. Poole was a level two radiology technician at Christus St. Patrick Hospital. In 1996, she and her husband moved to Moss Bluff.

She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and solely depended on her Faith throughout her entire battle with cancer.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Doug Poole; a daughter, Katie Poole; a son, Doug “DJ” Poole, II, all of Moss Bluff; her parents, Elanor and Kenneth Reeves, Sr. of Moss Bluff; and three siblings, Christine Elizabeth Reeves of Moss Bluff, Debbie Hood of Lake Charles, and Kenneth Lynn Reeves, Jr. of Moss Bluff.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Victory Baptist Church under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Wayne Dartez will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 1:00 PM and continue until the start of the service.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Baylor, especially Dr. Kent Osborne, Mary Rude, and Dr. Mark Udden for their special care given to Mrs. Poole. They would also like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Ron Lewis and Dr. James Maze here locally.
