LeBleu Settlement ~ Tammy Lynn Thigpen Deshotel of LeBleu Settlement, born on July 31, 1968, daughter of the late Charles Robert and Mary Ann (Doucet) Thigpen, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at the age of fifty-five.

Tammy enjoyed playing bingo, shopping online, spending time with her grandchildren, and she loved her fur babies.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and daughter, Lori Lynn Thigpen.

Tammy is survived by her loving husband, Valery Deshotel; children, Daniel Hooper, CJ Deshotel, Tina Gary (John), Stacie Deshotel (Jacob Perry), Hope Deshotel (Makya Flott); siblings, Robert Thigpen (Melinda), Sheila Fontenot (Wayne); seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 19, 2024 at 11 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa, with Bro. Marcus Wade, Celebrant. A burial will follow in LeBleu Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday in the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will resume Friday in the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
