Taylor Grace Fontenot
Lake Charles ~ Taylor Grace Fontenot born on August 11, 2001, daughter of Allen Joseph Fontenot, Jr., and Jessica Burge Fontenot, joined her best friend, Jesus on Friday, December 31, 2021, at the age of 20.
Taylor was a member of Livingway Pentecostal Church in Lake Charles. She was a graduate of Bell City High School class of 2020 and was taking online classes for physical fitness and she was a personal trainer. Taylor loved reading, especially poetry, she loved to exercise, uplifting others, and worshipping Jesus.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Leonard Burge; and an aunt, Sandra “Sandy” Foreman.
Taylor is survived by her father, Allen Joseph Fontenot, Jr. (Rachelle); mother, Jessica Burge Fontenot and fiancé, Justin Savant; brother, Fisher Anthem Fontenot; sisters, Aubrey Lyric Fontenot, Edynn Harmony Fontenot, Norah Cadence Fontenot; step-sister, Lauryn Kay Savant; nephew, Layne Kolby Courville; grandparents, Phyllis and Ken Andrus, Allen Joseph Fontenot, Sr. (Juanita), Dottis Burge, Margie and Billy Savant; aunts, Karen Burge Quarles, Michelle Melan, Sherry Fontenot Zimmerman; uncles, Timothy A. Burge, Dennis “Dino” Burge (Nicole Mouhot), Steve Foreman, and Jeremy Andrus (Liz).
Visitation will be at Livingway Pentecostal Church in Lake Charles from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022, and a Celebration of Life will begin at 6 p.m. with Bishop Charles R. Nugent, and Pastor Brent Keating, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022, under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Pallbearers assisting in her service are Timothy A. Burge, Hunter C. Quarles, Kendall Savant, Jeff Hooper, Nick Breaux, and JaMarcus Woods; Honorary: Billy Savant, Todd Hooper, and David Hazi.
