Iowa ~ Terrance Walter Morrell, 75, of Iowa, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020. Terrance was born on May 20, 1945, son of the late George and Mildred (Brey) Morrell.
He served in the United States Navy as a Master Chief. Upon his retirement, he enjoyed watching football, baseball, playing golf and loved ice cream. Terry served the Lord in many ways, serving at church of the Promise in different capacities, mission trips, visiting elderly and sick, prison ministry, helping our community, home bible study and was a member of AA.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Tyler Rogers; pet, Maggie Mae.
Survivors include his loving wife of 16 years, Linda Soileau Morrell; sons, Dennis Morrell and wife Denise, Jeff Morrell and wife Tricia; daughter, Michelle Mudd and husband Terry; sisters, Mary Nokielski, Theresa Carpenter, Peggy Steele; step children, Ray Melerine and wife Jessica, Angie Melerine, Beau Melerine and companion Brooke; grandchildren, Lauren, Hunter, Katelynn, Miranda, Ethan, Cassie, Zachary; great grandson, Colby; step grandchildren, Cade, Grady, Joshua, Ray, Annabelle, Jackson, Avery, Joseph, Beckett.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Church of the Promise of Iowa on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 11 a.m. with, Pastor Dwayne Daigle officiating. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until the time of service at 11 a.m. As per his request, cremation was entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
