Terry Dean Simon

Terry Dean Simon, 66, of Sulphur passed away on December 11, 2015 after a short battle with cancer in his residence surrounded by his family. Terry was a native of Rayne and a life-long resident of the Sulphur/Carlyss area. Terry was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving his country during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, was a man of very few words and loved spending time with his family.   Terry is survived by his wife of 37 years, Nettie Richard Simon of Sulphur; his daughter, Amy Simon; his two sons, Clady Breaux and Terry Tenney and wife Dawn; his mother, Elsie Lou Simon; his sister, Shelia King and husband Alan; his 2 brothers, Teddy Simon and Tim Simon and wife Debbie; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Whitney Simon.   Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel in Sulphur with Deacon Patrick LaPoint officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 3-9 P.M. with a rosary at 6 P.M.at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 8 A.M. until time of the service at the funeral home.
