Terry Logan Jordan

Terry Logan Jordan affectionately known as “Papa T” to his beloved grandchildren, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, in Sulphur, La. Terry was born on February 15, 1940, in Shreveport, La., to the late O’Leisa and Yvon Jordan.

A very talented carpenter, Terry delighted in making cabinets and woodworking projects for his family and friends. He put his heart into each project to make it one of a kind. He was a loving father who was always there to teach his children and grandchildren baseball, and many life lessons that will always be remembered and passed on to future generations.

Left to cherish Terry’s memory are, his loving wife of 62 years, Carolyn Jordan; two children, Bryan T. Jordan of Sulphur, La and Traci Lyn Arnold of Destrehan, La; three grandchildren, Madisyn, Ashleigh and Jourdan, who brought great joy to his life; his sister Gayla Robertson of Sulphur, La., as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by, his eldest daughter, Lesia Danette Jordan.

Funeral services to celebrate Terry will be Friday, June 6, 2025, at 10:00 am, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur, La. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery South under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Visitation will begin Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm, and will resume Friday, June 6, 2025, at 8am until the time of the service.
