Iowa – Theodore Matte, born January 8, 1934, son of the late Lorena and Eva (Mott) Matte, passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 86.
Theodore served in the United States Navy and retired from Gulf States. He enjoyed deer hunting and spending time with family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Joseph Matte; Lillie Matte Crader; Estelle Thibodeaux; Lillian Tryon; Alice Guidry; Viola Wisby.
Theodore is survived by his sons, Racca Matte (Connie); Kevin Matte (Angie); daughters, Yolanda Rogers (Kurt); Carla Matte; siblings, Ervin Matte; Elda Richard; numerous grandchildren.
As per his request, cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. A Gathering of friends and family will begin on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
