Theresa Ann Fabacher Manuel

Theresa Ann Fabacher Manuel, 87, of Lake Charles passed away at 1:39 AM on Friday, October 31, 2025 in a local hospice facility.

Mrs. Manuel was born in Broussard, Louisiana on May 14, 1938. She was raised in Lafayette and spent most of her life in Lake Charles. She was a devoted member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.

She found great joy in life’s simple pleasures—playing bingo, doing crafts, sewing, cooking, and cherishing time spent with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Bonnie Mitchell (Alan), Scott Manuel (Paula), Leonard Manuel (Patricia), and Nicole Bellon (Steve); siblings, Dorothy Johnson and Brenda, Angela, Marshall, and Mike Fabacher; twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Velton Manuel; parents, Clarence and Theresa Fabacher; daughter, Kim Allee; grandson, Corey Mitchell; her companion of seventeen years, Ernest Romero; and seven siblings.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel. Deacon Harold Nixon will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until the start of the service with a rosary being recited at 1:00 PM.
