Thomas Gary Benoit

Thomas Benoit of Kinder, born March 3, 1953, son of the late George Winston & Sylvia Eve (Dupuis) Benoit, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018, at the age of 66.

Thomas was a graduate of South Cameron High School & a member of St. Eugene Catholic Church. He was the owner of Out Rigger Restaurant in Cameron. Thomas enjoyed hunting, crabbing, gardening, eating, spending time with his grandchildren and loved his AT&T phone.

Survivors are his wife, Rebecca Benoit; sons, Alvin Glenn Benoit & wife Rhonda, Roger Dale Benoit & wife Angela; daughters, Amanda Benoit, Wilda Mae Benoit; step-son, Victor Robinson; step-daughter, Dawn Robinson; grandchildren, Lacey, Emily, Dylan, Tyler, Clara, Jacob, Hannah & Zayden. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Alvin Glenn & Carl Raven Benoit.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 6 p.m., with Father Roland Vaughn officiating in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home – Iowa. Cremation is under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Gathering of family & friends will begin Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
