Thomas Gerard Hebert

Thomas Gerard Hebert, 57, of Lake Charles passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 in the comfort of his home.

Mr. Hebert was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. He was a graduate of LaGrange High School, McNeese State University and Xavier University where he was a member of Sigma Theta Tau and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi Fraternity. He worked as a Nurse Anesthetist for Anesthesia Associates. He enjoyed many things in life, and was always looking for something new and exciting: stock car racing, riding Harley’s, boating and flying his airplane. His greatest times were shared with his wife and children, fishing, and at their annual getaway to Toledo Bend. A man of Faith and prayer, Mr. Hebert made the ACTS retreat, was a part of the ACTS team and a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.

He leaves to honor his memory, three children, Austin Louis Hebert, Scott Thomas Hebert and Alexandra Leigh Hebert; one brother, Tim Charles (Dana) of Pearland, TX; one sister, Louise Hebert McDaniel (Lyles) of Lake Charles; mother of his children, Monica Vincent Hebert of Lake Charles; mother-in-law, Leola Billedeaux Vincent; brothers-in-law, William Vincent and Russell Vincent; sister-in-law, Barbara Daigle and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, O.C. and Nell Hebert and father-in-law, Louis T. Vincent, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 PM Monday, November 19, 2018 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Monsignor Daniel Torres will officiate. Interment will follow in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation Sunday will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary beginning at 6:30 PM. Visitation Monday will be from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM in the funeral home.
