Iowa – Thomas Lee Hatfield, 68, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 surrounded by his family.
Thomas was born March 4, 1949 to the late Leonard and Helen (Lusby) Hatfield in Marshall, Mo. He worked for AT&T, formerly Bell South until he retired in 2006. Thomas was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors are his wife of 45 years, Jeane Savant Hatfield; sons, Aaron James Hatfield and wife Jana, Jonas Shayne Hatfield and girlfriend Peggy Langley-Smith; sisters, Linda Hatfield Johnson, Marcia Hatfield Cook and husband Charlie; grandchildren, Sidney Lynn Broussard, Jacob Dakota Robbins and Jennifer Danielle Robbins; his beloved pet, Rufus. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Shirley Ward and Jody McDaniel.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home with Father Roland Vaughn officiating. Visitation begins Tuesday at 4 p.m. until the time of service with a Rosary at 6 p.m. in the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home.
