Thomas "Jerry" West

Thomas Jerry West, 73, of Sulphur, LA, received his Heavenly address change notification on Tuesday, October 30, 2018.  Jerry was born in El Dorado, Arkansas on July 11, 1945 to Juanita Grace and Thomas H. West.  He was a retired pipefitter from Local 106 Union.  His hobbies included playing the guitar, singing and working outdoors and piddling in his shop. 

Jerry is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dorris Pitre West; his daughter, Anita M. Dubroc and James Cormier; his son, Edwin Shane West and wife, Summer; four grandchildren, Cameron and Bryce West and Justin and Ashlyn Carlin all of Sulphur; his sister, Anita Powell and husband, Chris of El Dorado, Arkansas; his step brother, Hollis LaBeff and wife Janice of Texarkana, Arkansas; step sister, Sandra Ward and husband, Larry of Smackover, Arkansas; and a multitude of brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Grace LaBeff; his father, Thomas H. West; his step father, Carl LaBeff; and his step mother, Lucille West. 

Visitation for Jerry will be held at Christian Life Church, 11 Center Circle, Sulphur, LA, on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 5-8 PM and on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 8 AM until the time of service.  Services for Jerry will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 10 AM at Christian Life Church with Pastor Marcus Wade officiating under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly, LA.
