Thomas "Tommy" Mouton

Thomas "Tommy" Mouton, 60, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, passed away on August 11, 2025.

Born on July 18, 1965, and raised in Lake Charles, Tommy was a proud graduate of Barbe High School, Class of 1983. Known for his captivating personality, and creativity, he touched the lives of many through his talents and passions.

A true Coca-Cola enthusiast, Tommy was rarely seen without a Coke in hand. He was also a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan-a "cheesehead" through and through. He loved the outdoors, especially cast net fishing.

Tommy had a deep and steadfast faith in the Lord, which guided him throughout his life. He was most proud of his role as a father and grandfather.

Creative by nature, Tommy attended cosmetology school to pursue his artistic talents, later owning his own hair shop. Over the years, he proved himself to be a man of many skills-working as a construction worker, brick mason, and ultimately serving as an EMT/ paramedic for Holston's and then Cal-Cam.

Tommy is survived by his former spouse, Paula Mouton; his children, Jeremy Mouton, Amy Mouton Darbonne (Eli), Bryce Mouton (Krista), and Brayden Mouton; his siblings, Rickey Mouton Hines (Bill), Karen Mouton Kaplan, Alfred "Al" Mouton (Kim), David Mouton (Linda), Mike Mouton, Dwayne Mouton (Myra) and sister-in-law Mary Mouton; and his five grandsons, Liam, Carson, Declan, Kohen Mouton, and Beau Darbonne.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred Smith Mouton and Doris Joan Maddox Mouton and his brother, Bo Mouton.

A funeral service to honor Tommy's life will take place on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, with a graveside service to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home and will resume at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the funeral.
