Services for Dr. Thomas R. “Butch” Miller, D.C., will be Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 2 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Pastor Dwayne Daigle, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. in the funeral home. Pallbearers assisting in his service are Ron Odom, Rusty Pousson, Dustin Miller, Davin Palamino, David Hargrave, and Shawn Racca. Family and friends are asked to please wear camo.

Butch passed away in his residence on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at the age of 76.

He was the son of Dr. Thomas Wilton and Verdie Racca Miller of Woodlawn.

Dr. Miller graduated from Lacassine High, attended San Antonio Jr. Coller, San Jacinto Jr. Coller, Texas Chiropractic College and graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Mo. He was the founder and C.E O. of Oak Park Chiropractic Clinics and Progressive Diagnostic & Rehabilitation Clinics of Iowa, Lake Charles, and Sulphur.

He was a member of the Toastmasters International Jaycees, Optimists, Board of Director of Boys Club of America, the Lake Charles Branch, LA Chiropractic Society, Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic and the International Chiropractic Associations.

Butch was a fanatic about hunting, fishing, and listening to Cajun French music. He hunted from Alaska to Argentina and chased blue marlin in the four surrounding oceans. He loved LSU Football.

Survivors are his sons, Maury, Gary, and Chad; sister, Cindy Pousson; brother, Victor S. Miller, and granddaughter, Krystyn Schroll.
