Lake Charles – Thomas W. Smith, born in Lake Charles on July 18, 1958, son of Raymond and Betty Smith Bergeron, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018, at the age of 59.
He lived most of his life in Lake Charles and worked in construction.
Left to cherish his memories are his son, Joshua Smith (Jessica) of Coffeyville, Kansas; daughter, April Sternberg (Joe) of Lake Charles; mother, Betty Smith Bergeron of Lake Charles; sisters, Becky Cameron (Steve) of Helotes, Texas and Connie Sonnier of Lake Charles; 7 grandchildren, Destiny, Faith, Chad, Katlyn, Nicholas, Brandon and Waylon. He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Allen Smith; 2 children, Brandi and Chad Smith.
As per his request, there will be no service. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
