He was a talented wood worker, built 18th century style four poster beds right down to the wood pegs, made the most beautiful wooden Christmas trees, five Sawmills and built his Plantation Style home from the ground up. Mr. Spears passion was flying, he owned a number of Ultralite Aircraft, several he built himself and with his circle of friends that shared his passion. He also loved travelling in his later years with his family and his companion, Ms. Kay.
Mr. Spears was genuinely humble and kind, with a genuine love of life, family and friends. He will be remembered for his wisdom and guidance, his keeping trusted conversations private, his love and devotion to his family and his pride in adoring his grandchildren.
