Timothy Hebert, 59, of Lake Charles died at 11:08 PM Wednesday, June 3, 2015 with his loving family at his side after a battle with cancer. Mr. Hebert was born on August 12, 1955 in Fenton, LA to Clyde and Ellen Mae Hebert. Tim loved serving his church. He was First Grand Knight of Msgr. Fuselier Knights of Columbus of Fenton Council 10269. He also enjoyed making rosaries, hunting, the outdoors, and riding his Harley Davidson. His greatest enjoyment were his grandchildren. He was employed by Lyondell Bassell for 29 years. Mr. Hebert was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and his quick witted nature gave his family and friends plenty to laugh about. He was a spiritual individual who worked his hardest to love his creator and understand his purpose in life. After graduating from then Fenton High School in 1973, Mr. Hebert was a rice farmer with his dad until 1986. Mr. Hebert was married to the former Ann Bradley. They had been married for 40 years and are the parents of six children; Betsy Granger Watkins and husband John of Sulphur, LA, Monique Faulk and husband Michael of Lake Charles, LA, Ginny Hebert Mitchell and husband Robert of Vinton, LA, Katy Corbello Radford and husband Jason of Lake Charles, LA, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne (Katie) Hebert of Ragley, LA , Devon Hebert of Lake Charles, LA, and his best friend Janet Dodd. Sisters include, Paula Langley and husband Carl, Brenda Theriot and husband Al, and Rhonda Shaull and her late husband Ronnie Shaull. Mr. Hebert also leaves behind 20 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Ellen Mae Hebert; father-in-law, F.G. Lawrence ; and brothers-in-law, Steve and Michael Bradley and Ronnie Shaull. Pallbearers include, David Bradley Jr., Mike Trahan, Kenny Lawrence, Terry Landreneaux, Chad Granger, Brett Lawrence, and honorary pallbearer Major Haines. His funeral will be held on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Cathedral. Fr. Charles McMillan will officiate. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Sunday at 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary to be held at 6:00 PM in the funeral home. Visitation will continue at 8:00 AM on Monday until 1:30 PM in the funeral home.
