Todd Walker

Todd Walker, 39, of Sulphur, passed away on October 31, 2025. Todd was an amazing brother, partner, father, and friend whose warmth, humor, and love for life left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

As a young boy growing up in Tennessee, Todd loved spending time outdoors. He enjoyed camping, riding ATVs, and cheering on his beloved Tennessee VOLS.

Todd was also an incredibly talented cook, working professionally in both Tennessee and L'Auberge Casino in Lake Charles during his early years. His cooking skills were the favorites of many whether in a professional kitchen or at home cooking for his family.

In 2012, while at work, Todd met the love of his life, Courtney Perry. The two fell madly in love and knew they were meant to spend their lives together. Todd was a devoted and loving partner, and an exceptional father to their children. He stayed home with them when they were young - cooking, cleaning, getting them ready for school, and pouring his heart into raising them. Todd didn't just play the role of "Dad"; he lived it fully and proudly, believing it to be the most important role a man could have. His children were truly his world.

When the children began school, Todd found his next calling as the "Terpene King" at Good Day Farm in Lake Charles. He quickly became a favorite among customers and coworkers alike, admired not only for his deep knowledge and love of cannabis but also for his quick wit, humor, and vibrant personality. Todd had a gift for making people laugh and lightening any room he entered with his off-the-wall comments and infectious energy.

Todd is survived by his life partner of 13 years, Courtney Perry; their beloved children, Kylar Grace Walker and Julian Avery Walker; his father, Avery Walker (Shiloh); his sister, Christina Sheffield (Aaron); nephew, Aaron Cody (Vanna); great-nephews, Christopher, Malaki, and Deacon Sheffield; half-sister, Tabitha Foshee; and a loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as many cherished coworkers and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Walker.

A funeral service to honor Todd's life will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles, with cremation to follow. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until the start of the service.

Todd will be remembered for his love, his laughter, and his ability to bring joy to everyone around him. His legacy will live on through the family and friends who loved him so deeply.
