Tonda Lynn Reeves

Tonda Lynn Reeves, 55, of Lake Charles passed away suddenly in New Orleans.

Tonda was born and raised in Lake Charles and was a graduate of LaGrange High School. She was of the Christian faith worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide for many years. Above all, Tonda was a daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She loved her family and those around her with all her heart.

Preceding Tonda in death are her parents, Ronnie Ray and Judy Ann Bertrand Anderson, brother, Ronnie Ray Anderson, Jr. and a grandson, Jaxon Reeves. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Megan Reeves, Lake Charles; son, Cody Reeves and wife Kimberly Ferrell Reeves, of Mittie; sisters, Tina Marie Newman (Charlie Hunter, Sr.) and Rhonda Blanchard (Bruce), both of Lake Charles; sister-in-law, Dana Anderson,  Kansas; grandchildren, Ashlynn Vita, Kayden Manuel, Amara Windham, Trevor Reeves, Konner Disatell and Tucker Reeves as well as numerus nieces, nephews and extended family of the heart.

As to Tonda’s request, graveside services were at Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Those serving the family as pallbearers were John Viator, Justen James, Randall Goode, Dawayne Manuel, Taylor Blanchard and Evan Blanchard.
