Lake Charles ~ Tony Wayne Fontenot, born March 7, 1965, son of Hubert and Gayle (Durapeaux) Fontenot, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at the age of 56.
Tony worked for Halliburton for over 33 years. He loved goose hunting, 4-wheeler riding, cooking, working and most of all being with his family and friends.
Tony is survived by his mother, Gayle (Durapeaux) Fontenot; daughters, Mandy Fontenot; Colleen Breaux (Matthew); Kaylin Fontenot; Rachel Fontenot; siblings, Roggie Fontenot (Ellen); Michelle Fontenot; Vera Dunfey (Johnny); grandchildren, Gage, Jase, Bradyn, Paisley, and Gracelyn.
He is preceded in death by his father, Hubert Fontenot, and several siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 5 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Bro. Gil Broussard, officiant. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will begin on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
