Tracey Nell Bertrand Mcdonald

Tracey Nell Bertrand McDonald, 57, of DeQuincy, LA died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 26, 2016.

Tracey was born on January 1, 1959 in Plaquemine, LA to Kenneth and Nelda Bertrand.

She loved being around family and friends, playing with her grandchildren, and enjoying life to the fullest. Tracey was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a secretary for 13 years at St. Pius Catholic Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 28 years, George Mills McDonald; daughter, Katy McDonald Clement and husband David of Lake Charles, LA; son, Oliver Jules McDonald and wife Brittany of Sulphur, LA; mother, Nelda Bertrand Holt and husband Alvin “Tim”; two brothers, Kenneth Bertrand Jr. and Michael Bertrand; one sister, Terri Thacker; and two grandchildren, Bryce Anthony and Lillian Rose, and one on the way.

She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Joseph Bertrand.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 1, 2016 at St. Theodore Catholic Church. Visitation will begin from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 6:00 PM rosary on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles, LA. Visitation will resume from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Consolata Cemetery. Monsignor Charles Dubois will officiate services.
