Tressa Tennille Boudreaux passed unexpectedly at the age of 48 on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in Grand Lake, Louisiana.
Tressa was born on December 13, 1976, and grew up in Cameron and Creole, Louisiana. She proudly represented the 1996 graduating class of South Cameron High School. She was a current resident of Grand Lake, Louisiana. She was employed at Keith's Paint and Body for thirteen years with an extended family she considered her own, Keith, Patty, Jonathan, and Kasey Mathieu before moving on recently to Grand Lake Auto Repair where she was welcomed with open arms.
Tressa lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures. Her joie de vivre was punctuated by an enthusiastic embrace of time spent with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors whether camping or cooking, and being the spark to start the party. She thrived with good company anywhere, but especially keeping her Godmother, Monica Harris, on her toes! She had an infectious smile and attitude to back it up. Her larger-than-life personality shone through in her manner of never meeting a stranger. When that certain twinkle in her eyes began to glow, you knew "the Boudreaux" was bubbling out to make someone laugh.
Left to cherish her loving memory is her wife, Tonya Woodruff Boudreaux; daughter, Joslyn Claire Miller; brother, Gregory (Dolores) Boudreaux; sister, Cynthia (Philip) Gayle; nephew and niece, Sawyer and Cambreigh Woodruff. Tressa grew up alongside her nieces and nephews that she loved deeply, Larica (Bryan) Trahan, Tiffany Boudreaux (Ken), Jared (Courtney) Savoie, Jennifer (Kevin) Saltzman, Joshua (Jessica) Savoie, and Jed (Sarah) Savoie.
She is now at peace with her parents, Perry and Elizabeth "Lizzy" Boudreaux and brother, Darrin Boudreaux, whom she missed profoundly. She is also preceded in death by her grandparents, Alfred and Iona Mae Giles and Charles and Larica (Chun) Boudreaux; and welcomed with great excitement by best friends Sarah Henry and Amy Racca Natali.
Honored to serve as her Pallbearers and carry her to her final resting place are Joshua Savoie, Jevon Savoie, Jaron Theriot, Tanner Savoie, Blayze Saltzman, Marcus Harris, Darren Savoie, and Sawyer Woodruff. Honorary Pallbearers are Jessie Woodruff and Trevor Woodruff.
