Trevelyn Abshire Russo

Trevelyn Abshire Russo, 89, left this world and entered into the presence of the Lord on Sunday, May 28, 2017 in her daughter’s residence in Boerne, TX.

She was a longtime resident of Westlake.

Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Linda Loftin Little (Len) of Boerne, TX and Kina Loftin Trahan of Lake Charles; a step son, Clarence Ray Russo (Jena) and their children of Texas; a brother, David Abshire; a sister, Barbara Tisdale; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Russo and parents, Almon and Nettie Abshire.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 3, 2017 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Rocky East will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until the start of the service.
