Valerie Faye Arceneaux Bazinet

Lacassine-Valerie Faye Arceneaux Bazinet, 49, passed away in a local hospital on Friday, February 27, 2015.
Valerie was born in Lake Charles on March 31, 1965 to Adie Charles Arceneaux, Sr. and Joyce Lee (Bertrand) Arceneaux. She was a graduate of Lacassine High and a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. A loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend, her memory will live on in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Dwayne Bazinet, Sr.; son, Dwayne “ D. J.” Bazinet, Jr.; mother, Joyce Arceneaux of Lacassine; siblings, Steve Arceneaux (Peggy) of Lacassine, Curtis Arceneaux (Paige) of Hayes, Debbie Landry (Snook) of Topsy, Jean Babineaux (Glen) of Topsy, Sue Duplantis (Allen) of Lacassine and Pat LeBlanc (Johnny) of Hayes; sister-in-law, LaVern Arceneaux; nieces and nephews; dog, Kujo. Valerie is preceded in death by her father and 2 brothers, Adie Charles Arceneaux, Jr. and Lester Joseph Arceneaux.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 12 p.m. with Father Rojo Anthony officiating in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Broussard Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation is Monday from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. and a rosary at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home and continue Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
