Iowa – Verdie Racca Miller, 91, passed away in her residence August 11, 2017.
Born in Woodlawn on November 11, 1925 to the late Herbert and Rose (Chaisson) Racca. She was a loving mother, grandmother and best friend to all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Thomas W. Miller.
She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Miller Pousson; two sons, Dr. Thomas R. Miller and Victor S. Miller and wife, Debbie; 3 honorary children, Roger Racca, Phyllis Rigmaiden, and Pamela Stokes, all of whom will miss her very much. She is also survived grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved her dearly and miss her very much as well.
A gathering of friends will be Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
